CLEANLINESS HALF HEALTH - ALSO APPLIES TO BICYCLES
Washing bikes is a natural part of cycling. A clean bike not only looks, functions and is in better shape in every way, but it can be lubricated and maintained in a more meaningful way, making it last longer. Of course, the British JUICE LUBES range also covers the complete bike washing process, so it's up to you to bring a bucket of water.

Probably no one voluntarily washes their own bike with a bucket, so what with? Brooms, sponges, brushes, rags. Juice Lubes has a fine brush for the frame, a coarser split brush for the areas between the cranks and frame, fork and hubs, the harder to reach areas that abound on today's full suspension bikes. Another brush is more of a brush - it's thin with a longer, stiffer "bristle" for derailleur pulleys, derailleurs, and you'll also find a thin brush for cleaning the cassette. And for the final job, they offer a sponge and rag of the right material.

We recommend starting your bike from the saddle down and from the "loaded" spots to the greasy spots. This is so that you don't let mud from under the saddle drip onto a clean frame, and likewise, you don't smear chain grease all over a clean frame.
The wheel wash products are labeled DIRT JUICE and are easily dispensed. First, use BIKE CLEANER, which you spray on the bike, let sit for a minute, then rinse, wipe off. Depending on how dirty the bike is, repeat. Save your wallet and the environment and when the BIKE CLEANER in the spray bottle is used up, put a new one in the same container. To do this, dilute the BIKE CLEANER - SUPER 1:10 in the spray bottle and you will get the original BIKE CLEANER.
The next step is to degrease the chain dirt, which is really gross. Use CHAIN CLEANER - BOSS with a brush, spray bottle or spray. Its power will safely get into the chain and pinions and get rid of the gunk, grease, everything. We really don't recommend underestimating this procedure, remember how annoying it is to unexpectedly buy chain and pinions, without warning. Plus, now in the Covid era, stock is miserable. Don't forget the chain washer - see previous article on chain maintenance and lubrication.

When the worst is over, stroke the remaining grease around the frame feet near the cassette with, say, Workshop Degreaser - HERO all-purpose spray degreaser. Then all that's left to do is give the frame a final rinse and a final caress. Ideally with FRAME JUICE gloss frame spray or FRAME MATT FINISH for matt surfaces. Both protect and repel new dirt to some extent. Frame Matt Finish spray gives matt paint a beautifully soft vinyl look and smells like blueberries :).

Before you pat yourself on the back, don't forget the brake discs. It's a good idea to degrease them, not only because of what sticks to them when you wash them, but because along with degreasing it, you'll also get rid of brake gunk that you then "ride and bake" into the pads. A clean disc is important. The product for degreasing discs is called BRAKE JUICE and it comes in a spray bottle.

Oh, and one more important thing. You need water to wash, and ironically, water is basically the enemy of the wheel and components in general. That is, the stuff that stays inside all the titty spots after washing. Use Juice Lubes JL69 spray, which will do a perfect job of protecting all those spots and pushing the water out. Into the bowden, the chain, the under-saddle sleeve, the pins, just all the inaccessible places where logically water doesn't do any good.

Don't underestimate cleanliness, it extends life and you can keep an eye on the condition of the frame and components. JUICE LUBES products are a complete solution, they are environmentally friendly or fully degradable, and their strength and properties have long convinced Kolofix mechanics, the Gapp System - Kolofix MTB team headed by Jitka Čábelicka, enduro shooters Kuba Říha and Frenk, or among foreign famous names Brendan Fairclough.
Juice Lubes is a certainty.
