Product description

CH MRA 2437 LLB - ABEC-5, Ceramic-Hybrid, Angular-Contact, Bottom Bracket Bearing - -24mm x 37mm 7mm - Ceramic-Hybrid, Angular-Contact, ABEC-5, bottom bracket Bearing featuring 52100 high-Carbon chromium alloy races paired with Grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls with 90% fill, high-pressure, water-proof grease. Si3N4 Ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating on contact within the bearing. When properly installed (black seal in for BBs) and adjusted, Enduro Angular contact (A/C) bearings engage all of the bearing's balls to spread the force over a larger surface area, decreasing friction, minimizing wear and increasing bearing life. This is particularly important in applications like BBs, there there are constantly changing lateral loads on the bearings, which is typically the primary cause for premature bottom bracket bearing failure. The most common use for this bearing is as a replacement bearing for Shimano external-cup, bottom brackets with a 24mm OD spindle cranksets. The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium , 440C stainless , ceramic-hybrid andD-15 with Ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deep groove races to accommodate the largest balls possible. All of our standard bearings feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements. Static load - 773lbf / 3.44kN Weight - 18.9g -
