CXD 6806 LLB představuje zásadní vylepšení pro středová složení BB30, PF30 a BB386 s osou o průměru 30 mm. Ložisko kombinuje extrémně odolné dráhy z materiálu XD15 (kryogenně ošetřená nitridovaná ocel) s keramickými kuličkami z nitridu křemíku (Si3N4) třídy 5. Tato kombinace nejenže poskytuje maximální výkonnost hned od začátku, ale navíc se s časem ještě zlepšuje – keramické kuličky postupně vyhlazují povrch drah, čímž se snižuje tření a prodlužuje životnost.

Ložisko je vybaveno těsněním typu LLB s dvojitým břitem a plnou labyrintovou ochranou, předplněno  je špičkovým mazivem Klüber NBU52 s 90% výplní, které odolává vymytí a postupem času zajišťuje ještě hladší chod. Výrobce poskytuje na toto ložisko omezenou doživotní záruku proti opotřebení a korozi.

Dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals protect from the elements, and contain the 90% fill Kluber NBU52 grease that runs smoother with time and is highly resistant to being washed out. The most impressive feature of XD15 ceramic-hybrid bearings is, unlike other bearings, they only get better with time and use. As the bearings wear-in, the super-hard ceramic balls actually make the XD15 races even smoother.
