A trail specific bike with an overlap to enduro and bikepark. Great in flow trail, rough trail, climbs, park and enduro races.
A great "all around" bike.
It's made from Pivots own top quality carbon.
The stiffness has a layering of carbon relative to each size, so that a petite girl doesn't ride the same stiff size XS bike as a two-foot thunderhead with a beard on a size XL, or vice versa.
Sizes XS to XL will satisfy riders from 149cm to 196cm+.
DW-link kinematics with vertical shock placement gives the rear wheel 142mm of travel. It's set up for precise traction in climbs, missed impacts and rolls where it will leave the bike stuck to the ground.
The flip-chip allows fine tuning of the geometry for the rider's style or conditions. "High" position lifts the center and straightens the head angle by 0.5°.
The fork has 160mm of travel.
The seat tube can accommodate deep-set seatposts with the highest travel.
The Switchblade is fitted with 29" wheels at the base, but is also built for 27.5" and mullet. It will accommodate 29" tires up to 2.5" wide or 27.5" tires up to 2.8" wide.
It has ports for a tool container made in collaboration with Topeak (Dock Ninja CO2, Dock Ninja Tool Box T16+, Dock Ninja
Trifecta, Dock Ninja Tool Box Mini 20 Pro).
All sizes can accommodate a bidon in the frame.
